Today we held the kick-off meeting to launch the pilot project for the Virtual Citizen Service Office at the GISS. This pilot will be rolled out in two agencies that are part of the Social Security system: the General Treasury of Social Security and the National Institute of Social Security.
The objective of this pilot project is to implement the entire OVAC proposal, so that these two organizations can see which procedures it adapts to and then launch it for citizens' use, with the aim of bringing Social Security closer to the citizens.
For many years, Social Security agencies have had projects to allow citizens to complete procedures through different channels. The objective of this pilot program is to launch a new channel, bringing services even closer to citizens.
Each organization has its own working environment, so they can adapt the Councilbox OVAC platform to their needs and open this new channel to citizens.
This project, in partnership with Telefónica, allows us to see that the OVAC is not a tool that only adapts to one type of organization, but rather demonstrates its great flexibility to be easily and quickly implemented in different organizations of all types, both public and private.
