The Region of Murcia will implement new services to promote the use of electronic procedures

The Region of Murcia It has announced that it will implement a new channel for citizen services via video call through the Virtual Citizen Service Office (OVAC) and a priority service for senior citizens within the framework of the +60 Plan. In this way, it aims to advance in the area of electronic administration.

The new video call service for citizens, contracted by the Directorate General for Digital Transformation, will allow residents to complete certain procedures at Registry Assistance Offices without having to travel. To access the service, an appointment must be scheduled through the Region of Murcia's appointment system.

The implementation of this project will be phased in. It will begin, as a pilot program, with the issuance of duplicate large family certificates, staffed by personnel from three Registry Assistance Offices in Murcia and the Lorca office. It will later be extended to other procedures such as obtaining certificates of dependency, disability, or benefits received from the Murcian Institute of Social Action (IMAS).

Later, the necessary adaptations will be made, which will involve connecting to the registry and electronic administration services. In a second phase, this service is intended to be extended to others.
