Based on this premise, Kawaru Consulting sponsored in the XVI CNIS Congress a practical workshop that has marked a turning point in municipal management: «"Ask the AI: Discover the pulse of your city in seconds"».
The workshop, starring the Granollers City Council, one of Kawaru's strategic clients, served to present an innovative project that is already transforming how the council understands and responds to the needs of its residents.
Xavier Iniesta: Leading the real implementation
The session was developed by Xavier Iniesta, Iniesta, Director of Digital Transformation and Citizen Service Office (OAC) of the Granollers City Council and a key figure in the technological deployment of this project. With a practical ("hands-on") approach, Iniesta demonstrated how Artificial Intelligence allows the processing of thousands of citizen interactions, complaints, suggestions, and public service data to obtain executive conclusions in record time.
«"It's no longer about reading hundred-page reports at the end of the month. It's about asking AI what worries citizens today, at nine in the morning, and getting an accurate, evidence-based answer."», Iniesta explained during the workshop.
Granollers: A "Smart City" model that listens
With this project, the Granollers City Council is positioning itself at the forefront of proactive management. During the workshop, real-world use cases were showcased where Kawaru's AI analyzes the city's "sentiment" and automatically categorizes citizen demands, enabling public managers to make informed decisions in seconds.
