The Open Administration of Catalonia (AOC) has begun the implementation of Virtual Citizen Service Office (OVAC), a solution developed by our partner Councilbox, with the strategic support of Kawaru Consulting.
This new communication channel will allow the citizens of Catalonia to interact with public administrations in a safe, accessible and efficient, without the need for physical travel. OVAC offers advanced features such as:
- Certified video calls for personalized attention.
- Automated appointment management.
- Secure exchange of documents.
- Identity verification through different certified means.
- Advanced electronic signature and complete traceability of the process.
The initiative is part of the AOC's commitment to the digital transformation of the Catalan public sector, promoting more agile, collaborative and people-centered administrations.
