In a day with more than a hundred representatives from companies and public administrations, where they were able to learn about new digital innovation solutions at the Innovation Day Mallorca 2023 held at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor.
The event was opened by Antoni Carmona, Regional Secretary for Innovation and Digital Society of the Government of the Balearic Islands, who was accompanied by Jordi Giné, Director of Large Accounts and Public Administrations at Telefónica This.
Antoni Carmona expressed his gratitude for the organization of events like this, assuring that the Government “will support companies that invest in and promote innovation; public-private collaboration is fundamental to progress in this area.” “This is a key focus of the Government, where innovation has the status of a vice-presidency to ensure it is integrated across the entire Executive,” he explained.

In the tourism sector, Wipass has showcased its solution designed to enhance the guest experience, unifying hotel services, providing access to digital services such as viewing the restaurant menu without the need for a QR code or performing self-check-in, and offering Wi-Fi connectivity without the need for a password.
Likewise, dfocused on training and education, the company Bemyvega has presented a solution for recording, retransmitting and viewing in real time classes, talks, conferences or exhibitions for students with low vision and/or hearing, or with problems attending in person.
Councilbox, for its part, has brought its Virtual Citizen Service Office to Mallorca, which allows all the usual procedures of a citizen service office to be carried out electronically, guaranteeing that the whole process is easy and secure, and offering traceability of all processes with blockchain.
