At Kawaru Consulting today we are very pleased that our partner Councilbox has received a 5 million investment from Telefónica, Abanca and Adara Ventures.
This Galician company, founded by Agustín Touron and Victor López for the secure and legal management of online meetings, is currently the leader in Spain in this sector.
Councilbox held over 600 online meetings in 2020, with more than 120,000 votes cast. This trend has continued into 2021, with over 450 meetings already held and 80,000 votes cast in the first half of the year. Its clients include companies and institutions such as the Ministry of Justice, Acciona, Codere, Cuatrecasas, Solaria, Meliá Hotels, Booking.com, Banca March, Arquia Bank, the Spanish Olympic Committee, and numerous professional associations.
With this investment, Councilbox's main objective is to position itself as a benchmark in the field of legal technology in Europe and expand into other markets, such as the USA.
