Once again, we were invited by Telefónica to participate in the Innovation Day held in Valencia to present the latest innovations from our Partners at this event.
The event was once again a success; congratulations are due to the entire innovation team at Territorio Este, led by David Bravo, who surprise us every year and have such a great ability to attract people.
Around twenty startups from Telefónica's innovative ecosystem met this Thursday at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia for a new edition of Telefónica Innovation Day.
Digitalization tools and services based on technologies such as big data, IoT, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in areas such as tourism, health or industry, among others, have been some of the new developments that have been revealed in this edition.
This year's event coincides with Telefónica's centenary. A space was dedicated to presenting its new Tourism Innovation Hub, which brings together more than 40 companies in the tourism sector. Five Valencian startups are part of this hub: Inteligencia Turística, Insyde, Xelus IT, Prodevelop, and Globaldit.
The Director of Large Companies and Public Administrations at Telefónica in the Eastern Territory, Jordi Giné, He explained that "the objective of this initiative is to bring our most innovative service proposals closer to private companies and public administrations so that they can learn about the best tools to stay connected and enhance their competitiveness.".
The first deputy mayor of the Valencia City Council, María José Ferrer San Segundo, He commented at the institutional opening that "citizens need technological solutions that allow them to transform society and we must bring them closer, that's why we need each other.".
