AI enters public administration

Artificial Intelligence has ceased to be a theoretical concept and has become a real working tool in our public administrations. Recently, the newspaper Expansion has published an analysis of this trend, highlighting the projects we have developed since Kawaru Consulting for the municipalities of Cornellà y Granollers.

What is really being done?

Beyond the media noise, the implementation of AI in these municipalities has very specific objectives that are already yielding results:

  • Operational efficiency: Automate administrative tasks that previously consumed too much time, allowing staff to focus on higher value activities.

  • Better service to the neighbor: Facilitating access to information and streamlining procedures through intelligent systems that never stop.

  • Data-driven management: To help local councils better understand the needs of their city in order to make more accurate decisions.

A necessary step

The fact that leading economic media outlets are focusing on these cases confirms that the modernization of the public sector is unstoppable. At Kawaru, we prefer to work behind the scenes so that the results shine, but it's gratifying to see how Cornellà and Granollers' bold commitment to technology serves as an example for other municipalities.

AI is not meant to complicate bureaucracy, but to humanize it, freeing up time for what really matters: serving the citizen.
