Today we had the pleasure of attending the lunch organized by GRAUSTIC with Ester Manzano Peláez, Director General of Digital Services and Citizen Experience of the Government of Catalonia.
It has been a very enriching meeting, where he explained the strategy of the general management and, above all, his vision on the evolution and transformation of digital administration.
Beyond her leadership skills, what truly stands out about Esther is her enthusiasm, optimism, and above all, her empathy for the public. She firmly believes that transforming the public administration hinges on always putting citizens first and, at the same time, recognizing public employees as key drivers of change. Her positive energy and unwavering commitment to promoting this evolution are truly inspiring.
During lunch, we were able to learn firsthand about the projects he is leading from his position as general manager:

✅ Digital District of Catalonia: A space to promote collaboration and innovation in digital services.
✅ Digital Accessibility: Improvements in the accessibility of digital services to ensure they are inclusive for all.
✅ Clear Communication: Simplifying administrative language to make it easier for citizens to understand. I especially liked this one!
✅ Mobile Office in the Terres de l'Ebre: A new mobile service model to reach areas with less access to face-to-face services.
A very enriching lunch that has allowed us to better understand the challenges of digitalization and the need for courageous and forward-thinking leadership.
