The director of the Open Administration of Catalonia (AOC) attended a meeting with professionals from GRAUSTIC in which the key role of the AOC in promoting the digital transformation of the Catalan public sector was highlighted.
Specifically, the high degree of digitization within public administrations, surpassing that of many private sector entities, has been highlighted. However, it has been acknowledged that this digitization has not systematically translated into an organizational transformation that has substantially improved efficiency, management times, or innovation in new services. To achieve this, changes beyond technology are necessary, and the Government of Catalonia is now leading the way with an ambitious public administration reform project.
This meeting has served to strengthen the collaboration between the AOC and professionals in the technology sector, with the common goal of sharing experiences and concerns about how we can accelerate the ##digitaltransformation of Catalan public administrations.
