The Sant Quirze del Vallès City Council is committed to accessible and user-friendly digitalization.

In a firm step towards the modernization of public administration, the Sant Quirze del Vallès City Council has launched An innovative initiative: the Virtual Citizen Service Office (OVAC). This new video service channel, currently in its pilot phase, represents a clear commitment to bringing administrative management closer to the citizens, eliminating physical and technological barriers.

The OVAC allows residents to carry out various municipal procedures via video call, without needing to travel. By simply scheduling an appointment through the website or by phone, users receive a link to connect at the agreed-upon date and time. The system is easy to use, requires no external applications, and allows for real-time document sharing. Additionally, a temporary digital certificate can be generated for those who do not have one.

The available procedures include everything from registration certificates to enrollment in sports activities or the application for home telecare. This catalog will be progressively expanded, adapting to the real needs of the citizens.

The initiative stands out not only for its technological approach, but also for its social dimension1. It is specifically designed for people with reduced mobility or who have difficulty visiting municipal offices in person. It also extends opening hours for residents of areas such as Les Fonts.

From At Kawaru Consulting, we celebrate these types of projects that combine innovation, inclusion, and efficiency.. Our partner's OVAC Councilbox It is an inspiring example of how public administration can evolve towards models more accessible, humane and sustainableyes, with the support of European funds.

This is the path to a truly people-centered administration.
